The week of March 30th-April 3rd
Dear parents/guardians,
I hope with all of my heart that your families are staying healthy and are handling all the adjustments with being home. I miss my students more than I can possibly express! Please let your children know that I have been greatly missing their bright, smiling faces. I am sad to not be able to see my amazing students each day.
All work for our literacy class will be located online or will be available in a packet during our school closure. So your child can completely do the literacy work online or they can completely do the literacy work through a packet. If you decide that you would like a literacy packet, they will be available to pick up at the school on Monday, March 30th and Tuesday, March 31st. I know that online literacy classes can be a challenging experience for your young children. Please know that I am here to help in any way I can. If something isn't working correctly, if they have questions, or are struggling with anything, please let me know. I am more than happy to work with you to try to figure everything out or answer any questions.
Thank you very much for all of your support.
Mrs. Tignor
Please feel free to contact me anytime at [email protected] or by calling the school at (435)566-6957 (OWLS)

Hey guys, I have been really missing you! I have especially missed being able to read to you, so I decided to create a page on this website called, Online Story Time, where I will post some videos of me reading stories to you guys. If is OK with your parents, you can record yourself reading your favorite stories and send them to me. I will put them on our Online Story Time page for everyone in our class to watch!

Optional, but recommended, writing ideas:
Although writing is not required, it would be a great idea for students to practice once or twice during the week. Students can use any piece of paper to write their own story or use one of writing prompts below to get an idea of what to write.
