My name is Mrs. Tignor. I'm so excited for our new school year! I look forward to getting to know each of you and for you to have a fantastic second grade experience.
My goal for this year is for each of my students to have a wonderful year filled with learning and growth while at the same time having fun. A Little About Me: I am so excited to be teaching second grade at Scholar Academy. This is my third year teaching second grade and it is my ninth year working at Scholar Academy. Before this year, I spent six years teaching first grade. I received my Bachelor's degree from Utah State University and my Master's degree from Western Governors University in Elementary Education. I feel very fortunate to be able to teach at Scholar Academy with such an amazing team and wonderful students. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to do what I love! I am married to a wonderful husband and we have two amazing children that attend Scholar Academy. I love reading, DIY projects, cooking, crafting, and exploring Utah with my family. I can’t wait to get to know you all and I look forward to our wonderful year together. |
